About the Post

We are looking to appoint a Site Caretaker to carry out a full range of duties to provide a high standard of cleanliness, general security and maintenance of the school premises, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00-9:00 and 15:45-18:15 during term time.  Working hours during INSET days and school holidays may vary.

Stourfield Infant School is a large four form entry infant school with children from Year R to Year 2. At Stourfield Infant School, the children always come first. Everything we do in school is to help the children feel safe, happy, motivated and confident in their learning and relationships. We believe that children thrive in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment with plenty of praise and encouragement.

  • Enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, reliable and shows attention to detail and is able to work using own initiative and also as part of a team  
  • Experience of general maintenance, plumbing or DIY
