About the Post

We are seeking to appoint a Classroom Teacher on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.  The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher and will be expected to actively contribute to the ongoing work of the school, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Stourfield Infant School is a member of Twynham Learning, which is an exciting and growing federation of ambitious infant, junior and secondary schools.   • Teach in EYFS and KS1 – the post advertised will be teaching in Year R (Early Years)
  • Further improve the already excellent outcomes for pupils
  • Work with exceptional professionals to further develop a shared understanding of learning
  • Further shape the curriculum to enhance the quality of learning for pupils
  • Develop a role in subject leadership within the school

You are likely to be someone who is or has the potential to be:

  • An exceptional classroom teacher
  • Has an understanding of effective pedagogy
  • Understands how to enable students to achieve at the highest level
  • Believes that league tables are not the main focus for education
