About the Post

 

We are looking to appoint an Administration Officer to provide efficient administrative support enabling the smooth running of our school. The duties will be varied and will include data input, paperwork, copying, filing as well as customer service focussed activities such as receiving phone calls and visitors and covering the reception desk from time to time. Regular duties will include preparing our newsletter and providing administrative support for school trips and visits.

You are likely to be someone who:

  • Possesses a general level of education equating to NVQ level 2
  • Has good interpersonal skills and the ability to work co-operatively within the staff team
  • Is able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Has excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Has a ‘can do’ work ethic
  • Will promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
