About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Teacher of Humanities to join our dedicated Humanities team at The Grange School. This vacancy arises as we expand our staffing in response to the increase in students joining us in Year 7 this September. As a school that is truly ambitious for every young person, and increasingly the school of choice in our community, we are proud of our growth and of the privilege it is to work here.
This post will be based at The Grange School, but the successful colleague will be part of a wider Humanities department that works collaboratively across both Twynham School and The Grange School. Our federation structure allows colleagues to benefit from shared expertise, aligned curriculum planning, common assessments, and meaningful professional dialogue that smaller schools rarely enjoy in isolation.
We are seeking a colleague who is passionate about Humanities and aspirational for all students, whatever barriers they may face. The successful candidate is likely to teach Geography, with some KS3 History, and will be joining a committed team that takes great professional pride in securing strong outcomes and rich learning experiences for every student. At Twynham TGS, you will benefit from a strong culture of collaboration, highâquality coaching and a wide range of CPD opportunities to support your professional growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious colleague to contribute to the continued improvement of The Grange School and to shape Humanities provision across our federation. If you have the energy, passion and commitment to make a real difference, we would be delighted to hear from you.
