About the Post

We are looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our expert team of admin staff in our primary school. 

 

This role would be working a Thursday and Friday, 1:30pm to 3:30pm or alternatively the hours could be worked on a Friday only from 11.30am – 3.30pm.

 

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • Ensure a comprehensive administrative/clerical and secretarial service
  • Complete appropriate data input and paperwork associated with student database and student subscription services (e.g. Arbor)
  • Undertake general office duties
  • Receive telephone calls and take appropriate action
  • Provide support with the processing of incoming/outgoing mail
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who we are looking for

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C (9-4) or equivalent office experience/vocational qualifications.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Have an approachable manner as there will be daily contact by telephone/face-to-face with the Headteacher, staff, students, parents and other visitors
  • Have the ability to work accurately and in an organised and professional manner
  • Relish the challenge of working in an educational environment and effective team
