About the Post

We are looking to appoint two Administrative Officers to join our support staff team.

Stourfield Infant School is a large four form entry infant school with children from Year R to Year 2. At Stourfield Infant School, the children always come first. Everything we do in school is to help the children feel safe, happy, motivated and confident in their learning and relationships. We believe that children thrive in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment with plenty of praise and encouragement.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for outstanding individuals who are enthusiastic and professional and have the appropriate skills and ability to perform the following administrative duties working in a fast-paced environment:

  • General clerical/administrative work
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Able to work in a busy office environment working under pressure and to deadlines performing a range of admin tasks
  • Has a friendly and welcoming manner as the persons will be in the Main School Office/Reception welcoming visitors.
  • Is able to work accurately, flexibly, use own initiative and multi-task.
  • Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office/Excel and use School Management Information Service (training provided)
  • Interact regularly and positively with staff, pupils, parents and governors and all visitors to the school
  • Ability to work in a flexible and responsive way with tact, discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills.
