About the Post

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and practically minded individual to support our friendly and forward-thinking Design and Technology department. The suitable candidate will be responsible for routine safety and maintenance checks, support classroom teachers during some practical lessons, prepare and order materials, and general resources to support the Design Technology department.

A general knowledge and experience of working within some of the following areas is required: Product Design (working with woods and plastics) Engineering, Textiles and Graphics. Any knowledge of working with laser cutters, 3D printers, robotics and electronics will be an added advantage however full training will be given. You will also have a flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to work alongside young people and adults.
