We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated teacher of science to join our talented and forward-thinking department as we continue to transform education across our town. This post would suit a colleague in the early stages of their career who is looking for a role that goes beyond the traditional teaching post. Who we are looking for

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

• Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for specialist Key Stage 5 teaching)
• Further improve outcomes in science
• Contribute to the further development of the Twynham Learning Science curriculum 
• Passionately promote the disadvantaged agenda working with exceptional colleagues to provide our students with the very best life chances
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who we are looking for

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Are an inspirational and skilled classroom teacher
• Have an acute understanding of effective pedagogy
• Have an honours degree (or equivalent) in a Science or a related discipline
• Ave experience of improving outcomes for students in Science as a classroom teacher
• Have successful experience of teaching Science across Key Stage 3-4
• Have an understanding of effective pedagogy
• Are committed to supporting the vision of Twynham TGS
• Understand how to enable students to achieve at the highest level
• Believe in the power of education and wider educational experiences to transform the lives of the most disadvantaged

• Will embrace our highly supportive, professional approach to school improvement
