About the Post
We are looking to appoint a class teacher to join Stourfield Infant School on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Stourfield Infant School is a two/three form entry school with children from Year R to Year 2. At Stourfield Infant School, the children always come first. Everything we do in school is to help the children feel safe, happy, motivated and confident in their learning and relationships. We believe that children thrive in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment with plenty of praise and encouragement.
The school has a highly skilled staff team, and we pride ourselves on the quality of teaching and learning as well as the excellent achievements of our children. Our school’s core values of respecting, collaborating and aspiring underpin everything we do.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Qualified teacher status
- Experience of classroom teaching in key stage 1
- Recent experience of pupils with differing educational needs
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to relate to children in and out of the classroom
- A commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to learning
