About the Post

 

We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to join our professional and friendly trust Core Services Finance team. The Core Services team is comprised of specialists who work together to support and advise our schools in areas including estates, finance, governance, HR, IT, risk and school improvement. Previous experience in a finance role is desirable, but not essential.

 

Twynham Learning is a growing multi-academy trust based in Christchurch and Bournemouth that is undertaking a rapid transformation process to ensure that we have a secure foundation for future success building on our current family of two secondary schools and four primary phase schools. The trust currently consists of Christchurch Junior School, Stourfield Infant School, Stourfield Junior School, Twynham School, Twynham Sixth Form, The Grange School and Twynham Primary School with further growth imminent, plus Bournemouth Bay Teacher Training Partnership (SCITT), The School Sport Partnerships (SSPs) and CPD provision through Two Rivers Institute (TRI). 

 

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • Manage bank accounts and petty cash
  • Work on our ledgers and carry out reconciliations
  • Process orders and pay suppliers
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
