About the Post

Key Responsibilities
- To provide general support to staff to ensure the smooth operation of Food and Nutrition and Textiles area including the preparation and cleaning of materials and resources.
- To provide technical and administrative support to teaching staff in Food and Nutrition and Textiles including some in-class support with pupil activities.
- To support the teaching staff to ensure the safe and proper use and maintenance of resources and equipment.
- To assist in the preparation of demonstration material and practical activity under the direction of the class teacher.
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 5 A*-C GCSE qualifications (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
